President

Hi y'all! My name is Abby and I am the President of the Zeta Sigma chapter here at UNT. As President, I oversee our Chapter Council and the chapter as a whole. I am also a liaison between the Kappa Kappa Gamma Headquarters and our chapter. I conduct weekly meetings to ensure that our chapter members have the most up to date information on everything going on in the chapter, in the community, and at UNT.

Jenna Williamson

Vice President Organization

My name is Jenna Williamson and I'm beyond thrilled to be serving as the Vice President of Organization for the 2017 Chapter Council of our Zeta Sigma chapter. My responsibilities include creating the Kappa calendar each semester, organizing the committees of our chapter, planning the Leadership Consultant visits, as well as incorporating the strategic goals to better the chapter as a whole. I can't wait to see what all 2017 holds for our chapter!

Corresponding Secretary

My Name is Abbie Gerczak and I am so happy to be serving as the Correspondence Secretary on the 2018 Chapter Council of our Chapter. My main job is ensuring everyone across all Greek life councils feels appreciated and loved from our chapter! I send little letters and gifts to others chapters and I am also in charge of our members special kappa badges. I look forward to serving out chapter for 2018!

Michelle Bartels

Event Chair

Hello! My name is Michelle Bartels and I am the Event Chair for the Zeta Sigma chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma. This is a position that requires large amounts of time management and organization, especially when planning date parties, formals, tailgates, and mixers! It is a great opportunity to be creative while also working with other Chapter Council members to ensure that all of my sisters have an awesome time at events! Planning events is just paperwork, it's the special memories that are made during the events that you host! I am honored to be the Event chair and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma!

Megan Brackeen

House

I am so excited to serve Zeta Sigma as House Chair for the 2017 year. I am in charge of all things involving our beautiful house. I love making a home away from home for our sisters!

Marshal

As Marshal, I am in charge of preserving of our ritual, initiating our New Members, and for keeping our chapter meetings flowing. I am so excited for the 2017 term and cannot wait to work with others on initiating more members into this wonderful Fraternity!

As New Member Chairman, I am in charge of welcoming our new members into the chapter and helping them get comfortable and find their place. I cannot wait to meet the new Pledge Classes and plan Bid Days!

Philanthropy

As Philanthropy Chairman, I encourage our sisters to get involved in the Denton community through acts of service. Kappa Kappa Gamma works with Reading Is Fundamental, helping promote reading all over the United States, and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation, helping sisters in need. I'm honored to serve as this years philanthropy chair and can't wait to see how UNT KKG serves the Denton Community.

Public Relations

As PR Chair, I'm in charge of our chapter's social media, updating the website, and sending out the newsletter. I'm so excited for the 2017 year and can't wait to showcase all our wonderful sisters!

Kileen Waterman

Recording Secretary

My name is Kileen Waterman and I am Zeta Sigma's recording secretary. In my role as recording secretary, I take care of attendance records, update the standing rules and bylaws, and record the minutes for every meeting so that our advisers stay in the loop. I love my position, because I have the opportunity to motivate girls to improve attendance and participation. Outside of this position with Kappa, I spend most of my time studying and focusing on my degree, but I also enjoy having days at the lake nearby or shopping at the outlets!

Megan Scarnati

Registar

As Registrar, I serve as the chapter’s Historian. I keep a record of the various photos and videos that our sisters take, organize important documentation for the chapter and create the scrapbook for the year. I am serving as the Involvement chair as well, where I encourage sisters to attend events for Kappa, UNT, and the surrounding community. I am very excited to serve on Zeta Sigma’s Chapter Council for 2017 and see where this year takes our chapter!

Morgan Gibson

Risk Management

As Risk Management Chair, I promote health, safety, and emotional well-being for our chapter as well as eliminate situations that could potentially put our beautiful sisters in danger. I am very excited to serve this amazing sisterhood as the guardian of our chapter.

Logan Eidson

Panhellenic Delegate

As Panhellenic Delegate, I attend the weekly Panhellenic meetings for all NPC chapters and serve as the liaison between Kappa Kappa Gamma and other Panhellenic chapters. I also organize a sister sorority event each semester and let our chapter know what is going on in the Greek community during the week.
